Go ALPACA Your Suitcase to The Wild Alpaca Way – Now Introducing Wild Alpaca Wool!
The Wild Alpaca Way, a beloved family-run experience at Malin Head, is expanding its offering with an exciting new venture: Wild Alpaca Wool.
This innovative addition will officially launch in mid- March

A Natural Evolution of an Eco-Friendly Business
Since its launch in 2019, The Wild Alpaca Way has captivated visitors by offering guided alpaca walks along breathtaking coastal trails in Ireland’s most northerly region.
What started as a dream of entrepreneurial farmer John McGonagle has quickly become a must-visit attraction, blending sustainable tourism with the rugged beauty of Inishowen.
Now, John is taking another step forward in farm diversification by launching
Wild Alpaca Wool.
Every year, his alpacas produce beautiful, soft wool—but until now, it
remained largely unused.
Recognising the value of this natural resource, John and his
dedicated team have worked tirelessly to transform it into something truly special for
visitors to cherish.
